did I uninstall AA from my computer, I refuse to write Epinions about them! Every time I write a 'revised' review regarding their 'Terms of Service', their 'TOS' changes!<g>

Accurate assessment of All-Advantage! (Reply to this comment)

I can understand what you've been going through with All-Advantage. In May 1999 I signed up with them but had to wait three months for the viewbar. Once it came, I had trouble downloading it, and in the meantime I had forgotten my password. In late October I tried to download it one last time--and failed. I then figured that one had to be a computer scientist to figure it out. Needless to say, I never made a penny with All Advantage!

Not to mention if you do use the surf option is not only 20 cents an hour for 20 hrs max a month. Meaning a check possible only every 8 months without referrals. They are also trying to snow job lots of people out of money by unfairly claiming people have multiple accounts including myself. I do like Jotter much betetr despite the $50 minimum

I, too, had problems with AllAdvantage. I ended up with my account cancelled for cheating. I lost over $100 of legit, honest money, along with a referral structure at least three levels deep with over 50 referrals. Thing is, I never even dreamed of cheating AllAdvantage, let alone did I. Oh, well, guess it was too good to be true.

I feel your pain! I too have sworn off AllAdvantage. I have even noticed that my referrals aren't using it anymore. I am going to use it till I hit my $30.00 and then I am pushing the "uninstall" button. I might even have a farewell party. I was going to write an epinion on thier screwed up changed...but you said all I was going to say...exactly. :o) Thanks for a great review.

They also gave me a big run-a-round about all the glitches and problems!
They owe me well over $60.00 that they have not paid and I haven't used them for a month or more now.
I do not recommend this site either!

While your epinion was informative, I've never been a fan of pay-to-surf programs for the following reasons:
-Most people don't spend enough time on the computer to make it worthwhile.
-For those that was to persue it, it takes a greater amount of energy to keep the program active than one would normally use web surfing.
-I hate banners.
-Most programs require a minimum accrued amount before being able to redeem money. Most people get sick of this before they ever redeem a check.

We enrolled for All Advantage a long time ago and prided ourselves for finding such an innovative way to make money surfing. Things were fine until we got a cable modem with the result, we're online ALL THE TIME. We've had problems with their bar, our account and haven't seen a check in months... NOW WE KNOW... thanks!

you wasted your time with them too. I spent a lot of time surfing with that annoying ad bar, only to find out that the time wasn't properly added to my account. Now, in their last email, they have the audacity to charge my account for not using their bar. They don't seem to have much confidence in their own product.

they are examining your account because they are going to accuse you of cheating, one of their tactics for getting out of paying you. They will tell you they are taking a particular month's earnings, and then for the next several months you will see that same message, all your money still showing, and never be paid for any of it. I am in the midst of that right now. They are going to steal just enough money from me thay I will never be able to get back to the minimum at the new rate of $.20 for 20 hours ($4 a month)

Yes this is true! I no longer use the viewbar, never collected a check from them either, but now since I have been inactive, for "three months" they are charging me a fee for inactivity!... Go figure! The viewbar did nothing but freeze up my system, I elected not to redownload a new viewbar on my new computer and I have to have money deducted from a check I never received!
All advantage is no advantage to me! Great review!

I logged onto my account a few days ago and it showed that All Advantage is examining my account so everything is frozen. I have no idea what the heck this is all about but it's the final nail in the coffin.
Besides, in Canada, they reduced they payrate from $0.75 to $0.30/hr for the upcoming month yet they increased the surfing time to 20 hrs. How generous of them.

Thank you for mentioning Jotter. I'll check it out. I, too, am frustrated by AllAdvantage. I had just reached the $30 mark and wanted to get into my account to ccheck it out, when lo and behold, they tell me my id and password are invalid! I've emailed them with no response yet. I'm very unexcited about the new sweepstakes plan and am sure it is because of their financial difficulties. I, too, will probably bail soon. kanike

Yeah, I agree that the 15 hour-per-month limit is pretty pathetic. How dare they decrease the time you can get paid for. ;) Think I need to change my review on All-Advantage now too!

Had to dump the All-Advantage as it kept freezing up my system. And there is money owed to me, but I have long since written it off. I use Jotter, and am greatly pleased with it. Great review.

Do be careful about ending membership. Try and get a check first. Their unsubscribe policy is draconian. If you just stop using the bar they actually charge you money!
