*Because there is not a listing for this website here on epinions, I'm putting my review under Gamesville.com. This review is a warning for those have either played on "FreeLiveBingo.com", or to those who should stumble upon this site some day.
About 6 weeks ago I was informed by a cyber friend that a new website had just opened. It's called FreeLiveBingo.com, and you can win cash prizes. Cash?! That's all I needed to hear to check it out! Not to mention the fact that I love to play on-line games.
Upon entering their website I immediately noticed a message saying that during their "beta testing period" they would not be awarding cash prizes. Instead, each bingo winner would have their name put into a drawing for a "webcam". The drawings were to be held once every hour. After their site was officially opened, they would start awarding each bingo game winner $50.00. One winner every 10 minutes.
Since this was acceptable to me, I signed up (for free) and eagerly started the bingo game. At first the page was slow to load, and once I finally got to the game area I had to wait again for the next bingo game to begin.
An option they offer is to "chat" before, during, and after the games. I thought this was pretty cool, as it would help pass the time. I logged into the chat room and found everyone there to be friendly and pleasant. There is also a "monitor" in the room at all times. He or she will answer questions and chat right along with the rest of the crowd.
FreeLiveBingo.com gives players an option to mark their own cards, or have the computer do it for them. Another nice feature. Basically, if you choose the automatic system, you can just relax while the numbers are called and marked for you.
I played a few games, then called it a night. No wins for me. I still had fun and planned on visiting the site often.
The following evening, around midnight, I logged on to FreeLiveBingo.com to test my luck again. Not only did I win the second bingo game, but my name was drawn as a webcam winner! I just couldn't believe it! It was the first time I had ever won anything on the internet! The chat room host told me that I would receive notification via e-mail.
For days after "my big win" I eagerly checked my e-mail. Nothing. I contacted FreeLiveBingo.com and asked them about my prize. They did reply rather quickly, and asked me to please be patient.
Today, over a month after my win, I finally received another e-mail from this company. They provided a URL for me to visit to claim my prize. I was so excited at that thought that my webcam would finally be on it's way!
I entered the website to find something interesting, and a little disturbing. They require every winner to solve a math problem before they can claim their prize! Apparently, this is some type of law in Canada... where the company is based. I mistakenly assumed that this was only applicable to Canadian residents... which I am not. I continued to the next page (not filling in the math problem solution) and was horrified to receive a message telling me that I was NOT a prize winner!!!
I wrote yet another e-mail to the folks at FreeLiveBingo.com explaining to them what had happened. I also informed them that I am very frustrated at this point. I'm anxious to see how they will handle this problem... if at all.
So, before you should decide to pay this site a visit... be prepared to win NOTHING!
