The Warp Zone site, http://www.thewarpzone.com/ is, a complimentary web site, of The Warp Zone radio program.
Here is a short blurb from the radio show promo page, to give you an idea of what the program is about..
"The Warp Zone is the premiere radio talk program geared specifically for fans of Science Fiction and Fantasy in all its forms. Every Sunday afternoon from 3-6 p.m. Central, host Brian Patrick is joined by comic book and collectible expert Frank Keith to interview the biggest names in the SF universe. The Warp Zone newsman Patrick Murphy provides the latest news and information from the realm of Science Fiction. Sometimes thought provoking, sometimes irreverent, always funny, informative and entertaining...."
The site isn’t super elaborate or glitzy, but it has some nice material for the sci-fi aficionado.
Unique Material There are archived programs going back approximately one half year, available on streaming audio.
In a more condensed form, there are interviews from previous guests of the radio program. These include:
Christopher Golden : Author, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Spike & Dru: Pretty Maids All in a Row.
Julius Schwartz: Editor DC comics.
Andrew J. Robinson: Deep Space Nine
Leonard Nimoy: Spock, Star Trek.
Ray Bradbury: Author
Plus numerous other Actors, Authors, Editors, Producers, Creators, and Directors
One interesting thing about the interviews is, they are a conversational and free flowing dialog, versus a highly scripted format. The hosts are fans and it is obvious they enjoy talking with the guests.
LinksThere are links to SF audio, with short reviews/descriptions, Comics Review, SF Literature, Trailers, and a good selection of links to sci-fi news.
I highly recommend this site to both the casual and fanatic science fiction fan. It has a nice selection of original material, and links to other referenced subjects.
