If any of you have read my Epinions you know that I will sign up for just about any great site(or not so great site) that comes my way. When a friend referred me to AllAdvantage I thought ALL RIGHT 50 cents an hour to surf that would have to be great since between my husband and I we surf a lot!! Well I feel this is not one of those great sites!!
It drives my husband crazy every time I sign up for another way to earn rewards, but he doesn't complain too much when the rewards come through, and he wasn't truly thrilled that I was going to have to download something on to the computer but I said lets give it a try and if I don't like it I can just dump it later. Well I dumped it!!
This program has good potential but it wasn't worth my hassle. The idea is to download their viewbar and as you actively surf you get 50 cents an hour. Now for the first months you could only earn 25 hours worth of time and you had to wait until you had $25.00 earned before they would cut you a check. Now if you had referrals this could possibly happen once a month but if not then that works out to once every two months you would get a check. Then after this program got off the ground you were supposed to be able to log 40 hours a month--I never saw that happen.
The bar that was up would flash different sites you could link to and they seemed to be connected to sites you would actively search so at least anything it flashed in your direction would be something interesting to you and it also had a deal light on the bar and it was supposed to light up if you were looking at a site that AllAdvantage members could get a discount at--another thing I never saw happen.
The only way to make real money is the downline of referrals and as my luck would have it I only had one who never used it. But my biggest complaint is that every time I had the viewbar showing my computer would freeze up and I would have to shut down the viewbar defeating my purpose of having it on my computer anyway.
Overall I would like to have seen this site work for me I am not against free money but I just found the difficulty too much and the pay off to little for me to continue.
Note: I have been informed that there have been some changes to this site that I am not aware of and these changes may make this site better than my review makes it sound but unless I was convinced that I wouldn't have computer troubles while having the viewbar showing I wouldn't be convinced to try this site again.
