It's the day before my Mother's birthday and the thought hits me that I haven't gotten her anything. Oh great. Too late to race to the mall or some other store to buy a gift, haul to the post office and get it sent off, only for it to get to her several days late. Sure, there's overnight mail, UPS, FedEx, but that can get rather expensive. And besides...who doesn't like to get flowers? But by the time I made that decision, the florist had already closed for the day.
FTD.com to the rescue!
I had absolutely no problem getting on their website and looking over the floral and gift selections. Even better was the fact that they had a "Mom's Birthday" category (for procrastinators like myself) with 10 or 12 pages of items to choose from.
After you choose what you'd like to order, they ask where you want it delivered, to make sure they can get it there. And if they can get your flowers or gift to where you want, you continue with the rest of the order process like you would anything else. You have to order by credit card and also give delivery instructions, but the whole process couldn't possibly be easier. I called my Mom the next day to make sure she had gotten the flowers and they had arrived, right on time, just as I had requested. I am completely satisfied and plan to use FTD.com again in the near future.
