Alladvantage was an innovator in the internet, bringing a way for millions of internet surfers to earn a little money to surf the web. I have been a member for months now and have earned a little extra cash that covers my ISP costs.
They actually provide a useful service that I have used often, by providing a bar at the bottom of your screen that has advertising. Additionally they have a neat menus sytem that will point you to many other wonderful sites.
The other day, I received an email form Alladvantage stating that they will only pay out to people who have earned #30 or more, and will be paying nearly six weeks later than the period in which you earned this money. I have worked in accounts and understand the necessity to cut cost by doing this.
However, to my dismay, I found out that they are now only going to pay for 15 hours of surfing time. This immediately angers me as I attribute part of this to the fact that most of the earnings is in fact going to those users who have managed to sign up hundreds of other users and get a percentage of their earnings. While I do not argue with this concept, it will increase the traffic to the site and therefore increase revenue to the site, I feel that there should be a reduction in the percentage that you get from affiliates, thereby maintaining the 25 hour limit.
Having a f15 hour limit will undoubtedly stop people joining, as other similar programs, such as Spedia.com have no limit. There is no incentive for new users to join.
I therefore thank Alladvantage, and I am sure, like many other users, am switching my allegiance to spedia.com.
‘So long and thanks for all the fish’!
