Who say money can't grow on tree's? The answer is me . Treeloot.com is a horrid site devoted to draining time out of people in search op money.
My first experience with Treeloot was on my own website. I was on my ICQ when I found a banner advertisement for Treeloot. With in minutes a found myself randomly clicking away on a giant 30,000 pixel twisted oak. After each click I became more and more addicted, falling in the trap of an overgrown oak.
After around an hour, I still found myself without luck. I then formatted at sure to win plan. I proceeded by printing the tree on a transparency and taped it to the monitor. After each of my clicks, I plotted the exact point. Every time the wretched monkey gave me a clue, I circled the spot, and clicked on every pixel within a two inch radius. After covering a great portion of the tree, I still found myself no richer, but I had now wasted two hour of my life.
The monkey accompanies you along each click. He alerts you whenever you become remotely near a prize. He gives you pitiful consolation during your endless streak. He becomes mad when you do not click on the banners, and is utterly a waste of time and an annoyance.
After another fifty clicks, I found my little monkey friend had become a rabid ape.
He became furious at me for not visiting the sponsors . Treeloot created "The Secret Bonus Round." After clicking on several banners, you will be put into a bonus game without indication. During this time period, your odds of winning are supposedly much greater.
But why is it a secret? The whole reason there is a secret bonus round is to influence players to click on the ad's, which increases their profit. It is my theory that there is no secret bonus round, nor are your odds increased. That is one of there largest scams.
There is though one point where your odds do increase. Every 150 hits or so, you are placed into a bonus round. During this time, the tree is shrunk to around two inches high by one inch wide. You are given ten clicks when the tree is in that state.
Despite the scams, Treeloot gives $30,000 away each day is prizes. Your odds of winning are extremely slim, however. Prizes range from $20 to $1,000 each. One the main page, there is the Treeloot Hall of Fame. It gives a list of the winners. Along with there name, it gives the amount of clicks until winning. Many people wasted five hours, to only win twenty dollars.
My recommendation is to avoid Treeloot. It is a waste of time, and you will not win any money. If you want to make money online, try using a banner program, or stick to good old Eroyalties.
