I heard on my local station that there was a program that I could download off the internet, it was called. Stamps.com, I though to myself yeah right I'm sure I can get this program and it be free. So I went to www.stamps.com and downloaded it.
I was amazed at how easy it was to get the free $20.00 in postage for just trying out this program. I thought wow no more waiting in long lines at the post office. This was great.
With this product you get $20.00 FREE for just installing the program, which was simple and fast to do. Then you pay a $1.99 service fee, when you purchase up to $19.99 in postage. After that if you purchase up to, $20.00-$200 in postage, then your service fee would be 10%. Over $200 in postage, then you have to pay $19.99 service fee.
Once you get your program installed then you can start printing out your postage. You also become just like your local post office. You will get in the mail all the documents that you need to make Federal Express mail,and UPS certificate as well. You become your own post office. All you have to do is stick in your envelope and then add your address in the box that ask's for it and just click print and off you go. There is also many features to this as well, you can chose what type of service you want to send that letter or document or box. You have first class and priority and etc. Just like at the post office. Once you made your selection, then it prints you don't need to worry about how much postage you have left. The program keeps track of all this for you.
There is also a address book where you can add family and friends, and all those creditors out there that you owe each month. Great idea cause I know sometimes I lose the address to some of the places I have to send my bills to. So with this I need not worry cause they are all stored in the address book and handy for me when I'm ready to make the bills.
There is only one draw back with this program and that is you can not make out any type of a money order, and if you don't have a scale to weight your boxes or those big envelopes then you have to take them somewhere else to be weighted. So for those two reason's that I found you will have to go to your local post office and do those things. But for the simple things you get everything you need in one Big envelope to start doing your own postage right at home from your own pc.
Even if you never again buy any postage from this service, it is still a great offer to download and get the $20.00 in postage for free. In fact I downloaded this service almost a year ago, and I still have money left from my free postage I got when I downloaded.
