Points, Points, I love Points!

Yet another points/reward program. It seems like every day you turn around and there are fifty of these things popping up, trying to cash in. And at the same time, there are 50 others going bankrupt and disappearing.
Is Powerdime any different? I don't know. But what I do know, is that it is a really good program right now. There are numerous ways to earn points: surfing sites, joining or downloading from sites, shopping, answering trivia, and other such things.
One of the best point-getters is the ability to get points for doing the Sklif program through Powerdime. If you don't know what Sklif is, it's another program that you earn points on and can spend in their "store". So not only are you earning points for Powerdime, but you're also earning points for Sklif at the same time, and it adds up rather quickly on both sites.
A reason that I believe Powerdime has the ability to outlast other programs, is the fact that they don't have unrealistic prizes. Often when a new program starts, they make it extremely easy to cash out for a prize or gift certificate, and then wind up having to change it later on, which angers a whole lot of their users. Powerdime takes a little longer in order to earn, but it isn't too bad and with the fact that there are so many different ways to earn, it all works out in the end.
The majority of Powerdime's prizes are in the form of gift certificates to the normal reward program affiliates such as Amazon.com. As well, they give you the option to donate your points to charity if you wish.
Currently, they have changed their terms of service, in that households are only allowed one account instead of the two they were allowing beforehand. The way in which they handled this wasn't the best however, as they have just decided to automatically close out any second accounts in a household, without combining the points. This has angered a lot of people who were using Powerdime, but at the same time I can understand as these programs have an enormous problem with cheaters. Having said that, I don't think they went about it in the best way possible.
If it hadn't been for the recent controversy over second accounts, I would definitely give this site a 5 out of 5. I recommend you check it out if you're into reward programs.
