I was introduced to Bidbay.com several months ago and I must say that I really like the site. They are a newer auction site so don't have all the publicity as Ebay or other larger auction sites. However I do believe that they have the potential to become just as big or even bigger than Ebay.
The site is really easy to navigate and registering is a breeze. There are lots of different categories to choose from. What I really liked was I didn't have to give my credit card information to be able to sell on the site. This is wonderful for those who either don't have a credit card or doesn't wish to give that information online.
Right now it is absolutely free to sell. It has been since the beginning but I have heard that they will start a listing fee soon. I do know at this moment and throughout the rest of September it is free! So why not take advantage of free selling. Most of us know that Ebay charges high listing and end of auction fees which I believe are more than what they need to run the site but still a lot of people will pay that since they are the biggest auction site out there right now.
Bidbay.com also gives away cash prizes everyday. There is three categories that you can win a $50 prize. 1. by being a seller, 2. by bidding on items, and 3. by referring people top the site. Now if you aren't active on the site of course you are not going to win anything. I know several people that have won the cash prizes and they actually pay out.
Emailing is wonderful with this site. Not like Ebay where you get the same old formal email like everyone else gets but bidbay.com actually takes the time to email you back with a personal email and you don't have to wait days for it. They are very friendly and make you feel at home.
