My girlfriend told me about Powerdime.com. I was a little unsure if I wanted to join the site, because I already do a few point earning sites. Then she showed me a gift certificate and told me how long she had be using the site, and I decided that it must be one of the best sites out there. So far I have not earned enough points to order a certificate, but I have only been going to the site for a couple of weeks and I only do a few of the point earning opportunities. If you signup for more things or buy things then you get more points, but more on that in a little bit.
To start you go to the website and sign up. It is very simple and they don’t ask you for a lot of information to join. They ask you for your name, e-mail address, birth date, and zip code. No address until you order your gift certificate and even better no last name. This makes the site seem that much safer.
When you sign up you earn 1,500 points, but you need 15,000 to earn you first gift certificate. This seems like a lot but you can earn points every day. The way that I earn points the most points, is by the trivia questions and checking out sites. They are both free and easy. They offer 3 trivia questions a day. It is multiple choice. If you don’t know the answer they even have the “ask Jeeves” website link right below the question to help. I have had to use the “Ask Jeeves” almost every day, but it only takes a few seconds and I get the answer. There is no reason why you shouldn’t get the answers right on most days. You only get points for correct answers, but they are worth 15-30 points for each correct answer. I have learned some pretty interesting things from this. I look forward to see if I know the answers every day.
You can earn points by signing up for things, but a lot of times you just have to check out the website to get points. The points range from 10-15,000 depending on what you have to do. For example right now they are offering 15,000 points if you sign up for a credit card. Another one is if you sign up for wireless plan from Talk Positive you get 15,000. So you can earn a lot of points. One of them gives you 20,000 points, but I can't remember what it is. I have only done the click on the websites and they range from 10-50 points usually. This only takes me a few minutes every day.
They have a few other sections that you can earn points, but I haven’t gotten very many points from them so far. They are shopping, referrals and surveys. I don’t like to shop on-line so I am sure I won’t earn any points here. If you refer people and they sign up then you get points. But my girlfriend told me it takes over a month for the points to be able to be used. She of course has my referral points. You get 6% of the points the person earned. You can also get points if your referral refers someone. You get 3% from that person. They also have a survey section but I haven’t seen any surveys since the first day I signed up. They had two for me then and I haven’t seen any more. I hope to see more because they offered over 250 for both.
They have really nice places to get gift certificates for. They include Burger King, Target, Flooz.com, Blockbuster, and Dunkin Dounuts to a few. They also just added a section to donate your points to charity. I have seen the red cross, but I am not sure were else they have this for. A really nice idea. I hope you check it out because it is a lot of fun and you really can earn gift certificates.
