I have to admit I have only had my computer since July 2000, so I haven’t purchased anything on line yet. I guess I am a little hesitant to trust my credit card out in cyberspace. Having said that, I would like to review one of my favorite websites.
I visit http://www.pcflowers.com regularly. I like to send virtual bouquets to friends and family members. I like to send them just to say Hi! or to let them know that I am thinking of them.
The website gives you many choices. You can purchase flowers direct from the grower, purchase flowers from the florist network, order gift baskets, or send virtual bouquets. Since I have already stated that I have never purchased anything on line, I will only review the virtual bouquets.
When you click on the free virtual bouquet, a new menu shows up with 8 different categories. Your choices are Anniversary, Congratulations, Friendship, Get Well, Happy Birthday, I Love You, I’m Sorry, and Thinking of You. Each of these categories have 2 different bouquets to chose from.
Once you have chosen just the right bouquet, you then can personalize it. Enter your name, the name of the person you are sending it to, and the message you want to send. Hit the send button and away it goes off to cheer up that special some one.
The company will email you a confirmation that the virtual bouquet had been sent and another email when the virtual bouquet is picked up.
A couple of weeks ago I had the urge to email a friend of mine. I decided since I was going to see her is just a couple of hours, I would just wait and say Hi! at bowling. When I got to bowling my friend Lynn was very upset. A friend and neighbor of hers had just been told that he has tumors through out his body. Even though they are trying a very radical treatment, the prognosis is not good.
The next day I sent her a virtual bouquet to let her know I was thinking about her. I hoped that it would brighten her day at least a little. Lynn emailed me a day later and told me how much she appreciated the bouquet and the thought behind it.
In July my husband had a bowling tournament in Washington. We stayed at my favorite cousin’s house. When we went home I sent her a virtual bouquet just to say thanks for letting us stay with her.
I received an email back from her saying thank you and it smelled sooo good. I think my cousin has a very good imagination.
These are just a couple of examples of occasions that I have used this website. I am sure that you will find many more reasons to send a virtual bouquet.
