Earlier this year, I became entranced, certainly not for the first time, with Art Garfunkel. I have always had a high regard for this singer, but this year I decided that I didn't know nearly as much about him as I would like to. So, I turned to my trusty resource, the internet, and the first thing I came upon when I typed in his name was a lengthy interview with Paul Zollo. The interview was fantastic, and I read it with rapt attention. But it was more than that. It was a gateway into the most comprehensive Art Garfunkel website in existence, www.artgarfunkel.com.

I became a frequenter of this site and read every one of the dozens of interviews and articles to which it provided access. All were interesting, but I believe the three most worthwhile reads are the Paul Zollo Songtalk interviews. In these lengthy and eloquent interviews, Art Garfunkel reveals a great deal about his life, his inspirations, his family, and his partnership with Paul Simon, among other things. Also of special interest are the My Question for Art sections, in which Mr. Garfunkel answers a variety of questions posed to him by fans via the site.

A Chronology of Garfunkel's life from 1970 to 1999 is included, broken down into segments of a few years and complemented with many photographs.
