Ebay.com is sensational. Ever since I first discovered the site a few months back, a day has not passed where I have not spent some amount of time searching it. I have found something covering every one of my hobbies and interests, including books, movies, software, and just miscellaneous items. Sometimes though, I will come across an item which has bids that exceeds the amount I am willing to pay.
No need to fear.
There is almost a guarantee that I will find that same item or a similar item for a more reasonable price. And if I do not, one will always show up the next time I check. I am compulsively addicted!
Basically all you do to put a bid on an item is enter an amount higher then the minimum price. If someone has already bid higher, you have to try to name a higher price. After the auction is completed(usually sometime within 7 days), the seller will notify you via E-mail and let you know how they would like the money received and such. Once I send the money, they will usually ship the item immediately after they have received it.
I also enjoy selling items on Ebay.com. All it takes is a credit card, and a short form for me to fill out describing the item and such, and my auction has begun. No action site I know of is that convenient and simple.
Buying, shipping, and receiving is simple also. Personally, I do not trust credit card transactions via the internet, so I typically ask for a cashiers check or money order when selling an item. I also ask for at least 50% of the shipping and handling fee to be included, which is a fair deal if you ask me.
I have only dealt with nice and reasonable people on Ebay.com. No one has ever tried to cheat me or any other users I have known, which is in part thanks to Ebay.com and their well written Terms of Service.
Check out Ebay.com. I promise you will find something you love or have been looking everywhere else for but have been unable to find.
I am picky when it comes to Internet sites which involve buying, selling, and transactions like this, but Ebay.com ceases to amaze me. Do not let me down. Give it a try.
