I have been a member of Desktop Dollars for several months now. I don't use the surf bar much (called the profit zone). But lately I have heard that they where cheated. That users like you and me somehow created programs or something like that, that helped them users make more money, than they should have made. And when they do that it hurts everyone.
Now from what I have been hearing and what I have experienced from Desktop Dollars, I am not very comfortable with there site anymore. When I first registered with them, I was new to the internet and to the pay for surf programs. They where having troubles with there site loading, since it had to much traffic. I would have to wait hours or even some days before I could log onto the site, cause I would receive an error message.
Now after that seemed to get fixed I tried to download there surf bar (profit zone). That didn't work. And I wasn't the only one having troubles downloading the bar, so they put up on the site that for people like me that was downloading the damaged profit zones had to download another program called the "Download Accelerator", which promised to help download the profit zone and any other program up to 300% faster speeds.
But after all that mess, since they where new, everything for the site seemed to work out well. But for me I tried to much to stay calm, and that is one of the only sites that has giving me trouble. But I have to give it to them, that there customer service is one of the best out their. I know some of the letters I wrote to them where not the nicest, but yet they still replied like I wished them a happy birthday.
Seems that right now they have most of the bugs in there system worked out, exept for the cheaters. I wouldn't mind still being a loyal user for them, but with the cheaters cheating the system, its only going to hurt me. So for now, I am going to move on to another pay to surf site with a good reputation.
