In May, as the countdown for Mother’s Day was approaching, I was steered to proFlowers.com from a friend. He told me how happy he was with this company and that he had used them a few times before.
I visited http://www.proflowers.com, where I found a website that was very easy to navigate. The pictures are a good representation of what was sent. They have a large selection of fresh-cut flower bouquets featuring many different types of flowers, several potted plants and a few decorative wreaths. proFlowers.com even has a Flower Encyclopedia and Help Desk, in case I need it. I signed up for their newsletter and they send e-mails announcing special sales for newsletter subscriber only.
By clicking the Radio button on the top right corner of the homepage and entering the Code word that I hear on the radio, I can receive discounts on the flowers, a free vase for each arrangement or other special promotions.
I picked out and ordered 3 Mother’s Day arrangements in the span of 1 hour on the Thursday before the holiday. The flower arrangements ranged in price from $25.00 to $40.00. I paid extra to have them sent Federal Express 2 Day to guarantee arrival in time.
All 3 arrangements did arrive in time and all my recipients were very pleased-even though 2 of the orders were missing the special chocolates I had ordered. After I e-mailed proFlowers.com, I got a response within 24 hours (amazing!) stating that they were sorry for the mix up. They would issue a credit a refund to my credit card account. Yes, I did get the credit right away!
The only thing I wasn’t thrilled about was that I had to pay extra to send a vase with the arrangement. Otherwise, my recipients would have received only flowers with nothing to put them in. The vases, to be honest, were very nice and worth the extra money.
I found out from the website that I could also order flowers from proFlowers.com by phone at 1-800-PRO-FLOWERS.
Even though the messed up my order, I am still happy with proFlowers.com because of their quality and selection of flowers. I am also happy with their prompt service and plan to use them again. I would recommend this site to anyone looking for nice cut flowers at a good price and quick service.
