On Priceline.com's website, it clearly states that reservation requests would be made for non-smoking rooms. But the last three times I've used them, the request was not on the reservation.
So today I wrote them about it. I let them know I was a repeat customer, that I reserved a room today, and that today's reservation -- as well as those in the past -- had never been reserved as "non smoking" requested.
In reply, I got a canned message explaining that all rooms are reserved "non smoking." In other words, some poor excuse for a human being skimmed my message, saw the word "smoking," and sent me the most closely related canned response. Except that they were 180 degrees wrong.
So I wrote back, capitalizing key phrases and told them that their system had a bug and I didn't want a canned reply, I wanted someone to look at it and fix it.
This time, another canned reply was there, telling me to call in.
No, I'm not calling in. I'll write to epinions. I've wasted enough of my time on trying to give them a clue. I know they read this forum. Maybe something will actually get done about it.
