In the past,Cybergold was a cash back program that paid you back money for signing up and registering at web sites only. However, various additions have been made over the past couple of months which have improved the standing of Cybergold in this reviewer's mind.
Important Steps by Cybergold
First, and perhaps most important, they have forged a strategic and business partnership and alliance with MyPoints, one of the more popular points for gift certificates sites on the web. This has certainly strengthened the reputation of Cybergold in the web community.
Secondly, there has been an introduction of the Cybergold goldbar. Now granted, this goldbar has a rather pathetic pay out rate of .15 cents an hour. However, it does not take up all that much on your screen, only about one inch horizontally and it can be moved to a less intrusive location on your monitor also. It does not necessarily have to be docked at the bottom of your screen. The referral structure pays five levels deep which is rather impressive too. The gold bar has not affected my computer speed either so that is a good thing as well.
A vital positive factor for Cybergold is their pay out reliability. If you request cash from Cybergold ( which can be accomplished once one has reached ten dollars ) they will actually pay you! What a concept! They have two methods of receiving payment to customers either through a check ( which has a .25 handling fee ) or through direct transfer to A credit card which i have used in the past. More importantly, they will pay you quickly, I have requested pay out from Cybergold to my credit card and it has been accomplished the next day - unheard of in the pay for surf and registration world. Two thumbs up for Cybergold in that regard.
Like I said, if they can improve their pay out rates, Cybergold may win the "gold" medal for the best pay for surf program on the web!
