UPDATE, 3/29/2001: Well, the service hasn't changed, but now charges a fee. It was too good to last....
I sort of stumbled across Auctionwatch.com last Spring, when I needed a place to host and organize photos for auctions. I browsed eBay and took note of the services others were using, and Auctionwatch.com turned out to be the most appealing, in terms of ease of use and reliability.
Too, there was no charge--big appeal in that!
Uploading is simple and direct, using a conventional browse your hard drive setup. You can do multiple uploads with one command. Attaching counters to existing auctions is simple, too--there are only three steps.
You can also launch auctions from Auctionwatch.com, another big point in the site's favor. Add and specify the type of counter you need, select via checkbox the images you want to include, and you get a form the auction to which you're submitting (all popular online auctions are accommodated).
Auctionwatch.com's search feature is useful a times--and it shows something I suspected: eBay is far more successful in getting listings and bids that other major online auctions.
But ... I digress. Auctionwatch.com offers complete online management of auctions, including keeping track of sales and income, but I don't use those and some other features (like free E-mail). Auctionwatch.com also offers an old version of their services (which I learned on), and a new version, which is the default since last summer. The fact that Auctionwatch.com keeps the old system because some users want it says something about the site--something very positive.
Try it!
