Priceline.Com, they hook you up but they dont budge

When recently looking for airfare to West Palm Beach Florida for July, I immediately went to priceline.com (I guess Captain Kirks moronic songs drove me there) to check out what they had to offer. I went through the sign up procedure in about 3 minutes and began searching for a flight.
I put in a bid that I felt comfortable with, I waited my hour or so checked my email and low and behold, my bid had been accepted. Yay! I was so happy, I got the flight I wanted at a rate that was excellent and was already packing for my vacation in my mind when I noticed that OOPS I'm an idiot! I made a little mistake. I put in the wrong date to leave for Florida. No biggie, I can explain that and get the dates changed through priceline.com
WRONG!!! Once its bid its firm. They dont care if there is a bomb on the plane, no exceptions, no changes, use it or lose it (that's their exact motto as emailed to me by a customer service representative) I find this a little aggravating, don't they realize people make mistakes. Now This isn't affecting my opinion about this service. It was after all MY mistake, but It bothers me that they aren't even willing to work with people to get things right.
However they are fast to respond to bids, you have several options to choose from when bidding and you can get some excellent prices. JUST MAKE SURE ALL INFO YOU PUT IN IS CORRECT!!! An excellent service for those who travel often and are tired of paying over inflated prices
