I was a little reluctant to purchase a high value item through the internet with a merchant I wasn't familiar with but I found this to be a pleasurable experience. My LCD TV arrived several days earlier than scheduled and well packed in a second box over the original packaging. I was informed via email of my order status several times during the process and provided with a Fedex tracking number the same day I placed the order. I was very pleased with the product and would not hesitate to order from Vann's again.

Great experience, one of the best I've had buying on the Internet. Bought my new Panasonic HDTV on Monday morning, got a call Tuesday from the shipper to arrange delivery and had it by midday Wednesday. We're talking football in high definition for Thanksgiving, baby!! TV was in great shape when it arrived, no shipping damage and completely as expected.

Even better, Vann's had the best price on the Internet I could find (by $100) and on top of that threw in a free Sony DVD player (or universal remote, your choice). I was already sold but that was a really nice bonus.

I hate to do this, since they have such good reviews, but I cannot help myself....just got off the phone with one of their CS rep....so here's the story: I ordered a digital camera from them six days ago. They did not have the cheapest price around, but they came highly recommended, so I went with them. Ordering process was nice and easy, they did not try to sell me anything else...I got the camera today....guess what...the shipped me a wrong camera...called CS, they acknowledged their fault immediately and issued me an RMA. I asked them to ship me another one over night at no additional charge for me, since it was their fault...no can do.....wanted to charge me another $23 for that, even wanted to charge me $8 for two days shipping...very unacceptable....
Took my business to etronics, where by the way the camera is $10 cheaper, and they come just as highly recommended. I am very disappointed, and will NOT do business with Vann's again.

I bought a stereo receiver from Vanns.com while in the process of doing a new master bedroom addition. I was very pleased with their prompt delivery, their pricing, and the service I received from their customer service department.

This was the best experience shopping on-line I've had. I ordered a 58 inch Panasonic Plasma TV and used the free shipping option. I was not contacted by a salesman trying to sell me any extras, I was constantly given updates via e-mail and the item was shipped in less then 48 hours, then I was able to track the shipment through the Yellow Freight website, I had my TV in 4 business days from the day I ordered it. It came clear across the country form Montana to Virgina.

I am completely shocked. I would not have considered buying such a large item (Sony 60") on line, but could not find it locally or even a local dealer willing to get me the info and order for me. So, off to the internet and took the time to look at the stores ratings and, of course prices. Vann,s was the best buy so I reluctantly placed the order. WOW, two days later I received a call telling me my item was here. Unbelieveable. I also had to call Vann's about a couple of questions, other than terminally long wait, they were very helpful and courteous. Would never hesitate to buy from this store again. Will recommend it highly to everyone.

I cancelled my order with 6ave.com because of an extraordinarily long delay in shipping my order. I re-searched epinions and was pleasantly surprised by a price discount from Vanns.com on the receiver I wanted (JVC RX-DV31SL). I placed my order on Friday, and the very next day I received a shipping notice that says Fedx Ground has my package and will have it to my by Wednesday! My confidence in Northeastern retailers (New York and New Jersey predominantly) has never been too high, but based on this experience, Missoula, Montana is clearly a better alternative. In the future, if Vanns has it, I will buy it there, even if I have to pay more.

On Dec.2, I ordered a camera of the Panasonic DMCFX10S from Vanns.com. On their webpage they show the words "Panasonic DMCFX10S is Brand New", but I received the product, however, it is refurbished. I have to spend shipping fee $7.38 to send it back. This is not a reliable store.

There was never any pressure to buy nor did they try to sell me anything that I didn't need. When I placed my order, they made me aware of a free DVD player with my purchase which was something that I overlooked on their website. The ordering process was simple and I had a very comfortable and trustworthy feeling about ordering from Vanns. Their price on the TV I purchased was very competitive not to mention no sales tax and free shipping. I even received the item one day prior than the expected date. Very efficient purchasing experience from order placement to order confirmation and tracking of shipment. Very good price with rebate offer provided, which was returned with shipment. Highly recommended seller from this experience.

Their price was good on a home theater system but I was charged shipping to return a faulty unit ($70) and thought that was unfair. I won't buy from Vanns again.
