A pleasure doing business with this company.The whole buying online process was very professional.My system arrived right on time and with the help of their customer services that assisted the Fed Ex delivery man to our rural address.I couldn't beat the free shipping and the extra speakers stands and the price for my system anywhere online. Let me say that I was extremely apprehensive about ordering a 42" LCD TV online and having it delivered since I have had many bad experiences with fragile items being damaged during the delivery process- not to mention that it had to go from Montana to South Carolina. The same TV locally cost over $400 more, so after reading many wonderful reviews from shoppers, I took the plunge because of the price and free shipping (ACROSS THE COUNTRY! How do they do it at that price?). My concerns were erased when I received my TV in perfect condition. They were a couple days behind in timeframe stated due to the Christmas season and they were overrun with orders, however they sent me an email explaining reasons for delay with apologies. Job well done.
On a side note to anyone considering a larger TV- it is my experience that standard cable is TERRIBLE on a screen of this size. Pixelation is blown up quite bad- I am a graphic artist, I should know. DVD quality was improved with S-Video cable, however you need to consider HD service if you want to get full enjoyment from a screen this size.

Vanns.com was recommended to me by several co workers and friends. I was very happy with the price, quick shipping and customer service. I did not need to call them as all my questions were answered promptly via email before I needed to ask. Normally I would be hesitant to purchase something this expensive and large online (46" LCD HDTV) but all the people that recommended Vanns to me had purchased much larger DLP HDTV's with no problems whatsoever.

I bought two JBL Northridge E 80 speakers from Vanns and had them a week after they were ordered. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to buy electronics. I put my order in on the phone and there customer service was kind and they knew about the products that they were selling. I only paid $467.48 for the two speakers and I have seen them advertised for $600.00 not including tax or shipping at other stores. The speakers that I ordered are high quality and sound excellent (the people next door even tell me how loud they are). I will be buying many more things from Vanns in the future. Also, I like that free shipping that Vanns has going on.

I purchased a 60" Sony high definition tv from Vanns.com. They were very helpful and gave me lots of info before I ordered. They were never pushy and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't want. And they shipped very quickly. And they responded to my question after the tv arrived. I highly recommend them and will be using them again.

I placed an order on Saturday, December 23rd and was told it would ship by Wednesday (the 27th) the latest. By Friday, I had not gotten any confirmation, so I called Customer Service. Initially the customer service guy told me it was shipped on the 26th. Then he realized he was mistaken. It was not yet shipped at all. The fellow I was speaking with was somewhat rude to me, and told me it was human error. My order took over two weeks to get here. I was not at all happy with Vann's service, and would not do business with them again.

I would NOT recommend this site. It took 4 separate phone calls following my internet order to just get the order completed and shipped (hopefully). I placed an order for an in stock item, Sony DAV-FX100W surround sound system on Monday, 11/14/2005. It is now the afternoon of Friday 11/18 and the order has FINALLY been confirmed and is ready to ship. The order was supposed to have already been here according to the original order.. in fact with all the various mistakes they have made it won't be here until the end of next week. A full week late, for no reason other than their errors in processing my order.

I live in WV and I was very pleased and surprised when I ordered a Panasonic 42px600u tv from Vann's on Wednesday and received it on the following Monday. I also received a free dvd player with my order. It arrived on Wednesday of the same week as the tv. Ordering from Vann's was easy and they emailed me promptly to inform me of order approval and delivery schedule. I rate this as one of my best online shopping experiences to date. Great job Vann's!

Exceeded my expectations

I had found that vanns.com was the cheapest site for the item I was looking for. It was very easy to purchase the item. After just a minute, I had an email acknowledging the purchase. A few hours after that, I was tracking the item via FedEx.com. Delivery was set for 3 days after I had purchased the item - amazing considering Vanns.com is in Montana, and I'm in the middle of nowhere in Texas.
I decided to check the FedEx webpage for tracking info on the third day. To my amazement it was listed as delivered. I went outside, nothing. Apparently FedEx delivered it to the wrong address. I notified vanns.com and immediately was told that they'd put a trace on the item, and that in the event that the package was lost, they'd either credit my card or ship me a replacement. The item was eventually found by FedEx, but I was really happy with the level of customer support over an issue that wasn't even their fault. Five Star customer service - not what I was expecting since I was going with the lowest price.
