Best shopping for Audio Video

One of the best online shopping experience's I have had. I have never spent a large amount online.
I purchased the Samsung 5089s DLP television through Vanns. It was not available in the brick and mortar yet.
My purchase price was better than if I had bought the older model from a local big box store and they included a free DVD recorder. I was sold on the price.
Order processed quickly. Yellow trucking delivered. No problems at all was a great shopping experience.
Just a quick not also. They have a 15 day price match. I was a couple days over and I noticed that it was 100 dollars cheaper. I emailed them. Not complaining, just curious if I could get a price match. Was not going to be upset if I didn't get it. Just out of curiosity. Well they gave me 100 bucks off!
Would shop there again!

Vann's had the best price with shipping included for the Panasonic FZ 50. The purchase was quick and easy. One phone call to verify they had the camera in stock. Placed the order on 12/18, received it on the 21st. Camera arrived as ordered in perfect condition with a free memory card.

Poor service shows that Vanns.com is more interested in the sale than the consumer experience.

My consumer experience was very poor with Vanns.com. A company's true performance can be measured by the manner with which they deal with issues. I received a broken speaker from Vanns.com just before the holidays. I spoke with two customer service employees (including the supervisor) that were absolutely rude. They each made a number of smart remarks through our conversations. Although Vanns.com inundates you with their excellent customer service ratings (including when they place you on hold), in reality it was non-existent. I received the cold shoulder just after explaining that I had a return. The manager did not make me feel that he fully understood my issue. Frankly, I do not think that he really cared. He also gave me a hard time. I am sure that Vanns.com is fine if you do not run into issues, but beware if you do. They are not there to support you.

Excellent experience. Vann's is an extremely professional organization. They ship orders promptly, usually the same day. They also email customers promptly with shipping instructions and their products are excellent and affordable.

I ordered an Onkyo receiver for which Vann's had the lowest price, their site worked well, I got the receiver very quickly for ground-shipping, and have had no problems with the unit.
I had noticed Vann's for a couple of years and considered them a potentially marginal retailer because their prices were always too low, they're in Montana, their old site didn't seem very good, and there were some bad customer reviews initially.
They must have gotten their act together, because my experience was excellent. And I softened on the Montana thing when I realized they're in Missoula, which is an outpost of thinking in an otherwise big empty sky :)

Vann's did what they said they would do. My DVD player was shipped on time and arrived when I was told. I ordered an extra HDMI cable by mistake (was included with player) and they told me to send it back for a refund. Good, honest people!!!

My first television arrived broken. My second television was sent to the wrong zip code. I had to get everything fixed at the shipping company. Vanns customer service did nothing for me. Every email went un-answered and every time I called I waited for at least 15 minutes on hold. I spent 1000 dollars and I still have no television to watch yet. It's been almost 3 weeks since my original order was placed.

Perfect, that's all I can say. Product was in stock as promised. Delivery occurred exactly on the day they said it would. Not bad from Montana to Connecticut. Though I did not speak to anyone directly, Vanns.com emails were clear and accurate. They followed up all the way through the process. I will gladly endorse Vanns.com based upon my initial shopping experience with them.

I just realized the only really good thing about this store is they will let you know immediately that your order has been approved and an additional email receipt that it has been processed. The first and the only time that I had to deal with exchanging an item that eventually became a return refund was a horrible experience. It took them 16 days after they received the item for me to be finally notified and they also claimed that there were missing accessories, specifically A/V cables that I didn't even touch because I had to buy new component cables to test the item out. After the notice, I called at least 4 times during a weekday and finally a sales rep named Tom answered and said he will and had to call me back. So after 3 days, I had to call them again and finally I just accepted the $15 deduction on my refund because I was just tired of dealing with this crap.
