BEWARE took $9143 dollars not refunded

Absolutely FRAUD, I order on Jan, 21st, 2004, 4 bose lifestyle 50 systems. They charges my credit card $9143 dollars. they never shipped the order and i still have not received the credit.
So they took my $9143 dollars and sent nothing and when i called they simply stated that they wont sell to me , i then asked if they really had them in stock and they didnt answer.
I think they are a bait and switch outfit and i STRONGLY suggest to stay away from them.

A terrific transaction! Vann's had the 40" Samsung LN-S4096D TV I wanted. One with all the bells & whistles. They had it for $400 less than most places. Because I bought after the Super Bowl rush, they shipped it FREE from Missoula, MO, to me in Virginia, saving me $190. It arrived two days earlier than expected. I shop on-line a lot, and have for years. Few stores make me as comfortable as Vann's did when running a credit card charge for multi-thou. For certain I'll be back. Oh, and the TV is fantastic. With my modest UHF roof antenna I discovered close to a dozen HD channels most people here have no idea are on the air, including 3 HD sub-channels at one PBS station.

I usually dont write reviews but I feel compelled to for Vanns. What a perfect experience at every level. From the ease of ordering, their fraud department ( more online stores need this service to protect us) to the email updates, to the fastest shipping ever. Oh, by the way, I ordered and received today my Sony 60A3000 big screen TV after ordering my TV 7 days ago, Not bad timing considering the distance it had to travel. Im so happy with the whole order oh and btw again, they have the cheapest prices on the net. How can anyone shop anywhere else?

Everything from beginning to end was excellent! Pre-ordered TV and communication could not have been better. Speed of delivery was very good. I could not have been more satisfied. Would definately order through Vann's again.

Vann's was the first large electronics purchase I have made online and it was a great experience. The price was the cheapest anywhere and they gave you free shipping and a free Harmony remote control. Their shipping was unbelievable. Not only was it free but it was the fastest I have ever received anything, especially something as big as a 56 inch television. I ordered the television on a Friday morning and had it in my home by the following Monday afternoon. It was unbelievable!! They are definitely a great vendor and I will definitely shop with them again!

This review is praise for Vann's.
Ordinarily I have little time or interest in reviewing a store. But with expensive internet purchases one has to be more prudent. Years ago the pursuit of a cheap price put me in trouble when I was conned by AAA photo (solved by a phone call to the CC issuer).
So while Vann's ratings are very good, still I was a touch hesitant to order from the internet rather than pay much more from Best Buy in order to have comfort knowing they were around the corner.
I placed an order for a 46" Panasonic Plasma TV Monday night. Vann's approved my order Tuesday morning. Wednesday I was stunned when Fed Ex call me to schedule delivery. Thursday afternoon I was watching it. I live in NM and usually items take about a week to arrive. But the route to MT may be better(?).
Anyway Vann's service was excellent.

I ordered a VCR for $119. It was not the lowest price but it was a very good price. I did not go for lower priced companies due to either bad reputation,lack of company info, or they were from New York (I've had too many bad experiences from NY companies - my apologies to the good ones out there) The VCR was ordered on April 5 and received via FedEx on April 12 in Georgia. Shipping was Free! The VCR box was in a larger box which had above average insulation but could have been better. The product sent was what I ordered and it works fine. Until something goes wrong with these people, I'll buy here again.

Just a quick note about delivery speed. I ordered the Onkyo S767DVC on 02/17/04 from south of Los Angeles, CA. I got shipping information on 02/18 with a scheduled delivery date of 02/23. It was delivered on 02/20. Three days from Montana to California. I think that's great. Hope the product is as good as the delivery. More when I get it set up.

I ordered a Samsung 61 DLP TV (HL-T6187S) on Sunday the 24th, received conformation of order on the 25th and then later that same day received conformation of order has been sent to shipping. Vanns has a great website describing product information, there prices are the best along with free shipping on orders of this size. The projected delivery date is Tuesday the 4th. Received call form carrier on Wednesday that delivery would be Thursday the 28th. Now that is fast service Montana to Oregon, five days before projected delivery date. Product was received in perfect condition and was installed and operating the same day of delivery, my Samsung 61 DLP TV (HL-T6187S) system is up and running, what a great product. Vanns is going to be my first choice for online purchases in the future, and I do buy most everything online. Five stars for Vanns *****

I ordered a 46" Samsung LCD TV from Vann's and had no problem with the ordering process. It was easy and without issues. I appreciate the free shipping and low prices. Delivery was another issue. While the item arrived on the last day that was promised, the box was opened only to find the TV damaged. The packaging materials inside were damaged and not well placed. I am not sure if this was a Samsung factory issue, damage from the warehouse or in transit. However, it appeared the original Samsung box was damaged prior to it being placed by Vann's in the shipping box. A call to Vann's promised they would replace the TV with a new item. I am now waiting for a pickup so it can be returned, at which time the will send a replacment. I am told this will take three weeks and I will received nothing for my time, money or inconvenience.

Second time ordering. Customer Service is second to none! Speed of FREE DELIVERY is surprisingly fast!!! They offer the best prices and total value. Their every-day prices are usually unbeatable. Even Fry's Electronics can't compete with their prices nor service. And Crutchfield's prices don't come close to offering the great value available at Vanns.com. Now that's saying something!!

Vanns is by far the best audio, video, electronic, etc.. store I have ever had the pleasure of spending my hard earned money at. The prices are absolutely amazing, customer service is phenomenal and the staff's expertise and willingness to help out in anyway they can is second to none. Special recognition must go out to Drew and Elysia at the Missoula location. You two are awesome. Keep up the great work and please know I'll definitely be back time and time again for whatever else I think I can't live without.
