You want to reshape your body and mind, but you just can't seem to get started on your own. Please consult your doctor first before you begin. He or she can tell you what is best for you. Remember this may take some time to happen. You should lose has much has one to two pounds per week. Please have fun with it and be patience.
No one can change overnight. Once you understand that getting fit isn't a quick fix, but rather a gradual alteration of your lifestyle, the better and faster your results. Before you hit the gym or throw out your junk food in the house, it is important to have the right frame of mind. Forget failed diets, poor exercise habits and past mistakes; think of this as a new beginning. First, take a long look in the mirror. You cannot get discouraged if your experience a setback doing so will only make the process much more difficult. Get in shape because you know you are wonderful and want to treat yourself right. Once you stop regarding exercise as a punishment, but rather as a reward to yourself, you will find it much easier and much more enjoyable. The next step is changing your feelings about food. Do not get it in your head that you will never be able to eat the foods you like. Instead, work on trying to control how much you consume, or else, food will control you. Simple ways to reduce the fatty proteins in your diet are taking the skin off your chicken and keeping your portions limited to about the size of your fist. Overeating with any foods is what puts on the extra pounds. It is okay to some carbohydrates like bread oatmeal and sweet potato. You can drink low fat and skim milk instead of whole milk. Drinking water is great for your health. I would recommend eight glasses of water a day. It prevents you from getting too hungry or dehydrated and reduces some bloating. Try eating small meals a day instead of three big meals. This keeps the blood sugar at an even level and you satisfied so you don't overeat. Stock up on healthy snacks like low-fat meal bars, yogurt, nuts, celery sticks, carrots and raisins. Please try and have dinner no later then 7:30pm. The later you eat, the more likely you are to overeat. Also cut out the salt and butter which can cause heart attack and high blood pressure. Please remember to take vitamins everyday has an additional nutritional support. Please do not skip breakfast. It will help burn more calories at a much faster rate. When people don't eat breakfast they will pig out on lunch and dinner. Say no to those crazy diets. You should no more than 500 calories a day. Any more and your body starts to burn away muscle and less muscle equals a SLOWER METABOLISM. Eating something sizzling such has cayenne pepper, and hot mustard can boost your metabolic rate by 25%. Also cayenne pepper is wonderful for high blood pressure.
The best way to get into shape is with exercise. You can eat the rights things but exercise will help reduce stress and strengthen your heart. Doing exercise will help to burn fat, reshape your body and increase flexibility. The best way to get into the feel-good groove is with cardiovascular activity. Cardio is the most affective way to expend energy and is essential to weight loss because it will burn calories. I know that workout is hard at times. Sometimes you may become bored and give up. You could find exercise to enjoyable if you find what you love. You can dance, jog, speed walk, going bike riding. You can also take a fencing or a tennis class. For an all over body workout try swimming. It is a wonderful way to shape up without sweating. To shed extra pounds while toning your muscles, you also need to burn more calories then you consume. Meaning move more and eat less. This does not mean starve yourself. If you want to keep it off you have to eat less fat. When exercising please drink water before, during and after. Also make sure you wear the proper clothing to workout. There are many options when it comes to exercise. I will give you some tips that I have learned. You should do your cadrio workout before any toning. It will help to burn the fat faster then just doing toning all. Drinking green tea will help shed some extra pounds. Also eating a cirtrus fruits such has grapefruit and pineapple will help in digestion. They contain high amounts of fiber and keeps you regular.

1) Donna Richardson's Donna-Mite. Offers you 51 minutes of nonstop aerobics. This video instructor is one of the best. You don't even feel like you are working out. The music features some of the oldies songs such has JIMMY MACK AND SUGAR PIE.
2) Crunch: Fat Blaster Goes Latin. In 31 minutes you can burn excess fat and still learn how to do the mambo and samba. The energy is high on this tape so watch out.....you are going to have fun......and learn some sexy Latin dancing......
3) Reebok's Dance Step. This is one of there shortest step tape but it is effective for the lower body. This tape is fun and fast-paced and you will burn a lot of fat. This tape really makes you feel the burn.....and you sweat a lot.....Drink a lot of water with this tape
Combining cardio and weight training is very effective for burning calories because it's challenging for your body to go directly from an anaerobic activity to an aerobic one. You will expand more energy both during and after your workout. Please check out these videos that combine both
1) Paula Abdul's Cardio Dance. This dancer inspired tape combines some complex aerobics but it is worth it. There is a lot of lower body toning in this tape. There are lunges which work the hamstring, quads and glutes. Also squats which I hate sometimes but are wonderful for the hamstring, quads and glutes. All the toning is done standing up.
2) Crunch's Burn and Firm in 30 Minutes. This workout is no joke.......I started doing this tape about a week.....And I almost give up because it was upbeat and fast paced. I have changed my mind about it...........You will sweat and burn a lot of fat. This tape is wonderful because you can firm your whole body at the same time. There is focus on your lower body and a special section for your ABS.
3) Donna Richardson's 3 Day Rotation. This tape is one of the best videos out......This is wonderful for people who never workout....or who just had a baby and are pressed for time.....or when you don't feel like doing an hour long workout tape. This tape combines three workouts for the whole body in just 20 minutes. There is the circuit toning which for the whole body. There are a lot of lunges, piles and ab work in this segment. The second segment one of my favorites is the kick and jab. This segment will make you sweat and have some fun. Plenty of kicking, punching, crouch and focus put on the lower body. Last but not least the dance aerobics which includes jazz squares and classic marches. This one is wonderful has a low impact workout. You do not sweat has much with this section but it is fun.
Strength training is also essential in maintaining a fit figure and an overall healthy body. The more muscle mass you have on your body, the better and faster your body can burn calories and turn fat into muscle. A toned body is constantly processing calories. Please check out some of these video's
1) Breakthru Hard-core Conditioning. This tape combine ballet, yoga and Pilates inspired moves to create a dancer/althlete body. Pilates focus on your ABS and back the core muscles that provide support and power for your entire body. There is a lot of toning and stretching in these video. It may look weird at first or feel weird.....Trust me when I say this is one of best for your whole body...........It takes a lot of work and patience......... This tape is user friendly and high energy for the whole body
2) Crunch: Boot Camp. In just 30 minutes you shape your whole body with this video. There is a lot of squats and overhead press which is excellent for your lats and biceps. There is a little cadrio from the fast paced moved. And the instructor Sue Hitzman is superb and her instruction is wonderful...This tape is easy to follow.....
3) Crunch: Toning Series. These five tapes will help to tone your whole body. The first tape is Turbo Sculpt which tones the whole body in less then 30 minutes....That is why I love the Crunch..... The second tape is Washboard ABS which contains three 6 minute segments which will tone flatten your big belly. I just started doing this tape myself and I like it because it gets to my problem area..... The third tape is Brand New Butt...........will lift and make your butt more shapely..........Trust me it worked for me.....Just ask Mr. XXFLACOXX :)....... plenty of lunges and piles in this 28 minute video.....The fourth tape is Killer Legs which features three different workout's for dancer, personal trainer and dancer. From piles to inner thigh lifts and lunges. This one will make you feel the burn...... The last tape is the killer.....Best ABS and Arms which will be the tape I do in a couple of months........It has four toning segments...which will make you feel the burn seriously.....I am not ready for this tape.....It is for the more advanced person..... A lot of overhead press and crunches.....
This is the cherry on top......The Stretching and Flexibility training that helps to relax your mind and body. It will also help the muscle from tightening up and prevents injury. Please try these video(s):
1) Crunch: Joy of Yoga.... Sara Ivanhoe is a wonderful yoga instructor which makes this tape even better. The style is laid back and the music is upbeat. You will do classic yoga poses such has Downward-Facing Dog and Warrior and Cobra. This tape will help with stamina, improve posture, muscle tone and release stress. This tape is all about meditation and relaxation.
2) The Method: Dynamic Firming and Flexing........Lakey Evan's careful instruction is wonderful in this Yoga/Pilates and gentle toning. This video is wonderful to calm your mind and relax your body
3) Kathy Smith's Relaxation System....This Video contains two15 minute guided relaxation designed to calm and soothe your body. This video is wonderful for people who want to begin yoga....The movements are gentle...and will help reduce stress....
