Too Good To Be True???

I, personally, don't think so! I've had nothing but good luck with natural supplements! I have to admit that I was VERY skeptical when I began trying natural supplements. I have been pleasantly surprised and my opinion on the subject has been changed. Here's why:
I have suffered chronic sinus infections for years and have been treated with every type of antibiotic that I can imagine. Of course, after the usual 10-day regimen, the infection would go away. A friend of mine, suggested I try taking echinacea when I felt an infection coming on. After a quick call to my doctor to see if it would interfere with any of my other medications, I decided to give it a try! I'm so happy to report that not only did it stop the infection almost immediately and I didn't have to go through 10 days of it waiting for the medication to take effect! (NOTE: It's not advisable to take echinacea for an extended period of time!)
My daughter, age 10, has been extremely moody since she was 8. I took her to a counselor believing that my divorce from her father and subsequent remarriage to a man with a daughter two-years her junior might be the cause. After discovering that this was not a problem to her, I decided to try giving her St. John's Wort. One capsule twice a day and about a week later she was like a different child! She was happier and much easier to get along with. I'm hoping that she won't have to take it forever, but it's nice to know that she doesn't have to take those prescription meds.
With these two experiences in mind, I've begun to do a lot of research on some of the other natural remedies. I'd much rather take natural substances than put unnatural ones into our systems. I often think about how all those people in years gone by were able to live so long without all of the prescription drugs that we have now. Perhaps they knew something that we don't...until now!
