How do you stop your old friend Nick from coming a callin?
by Mattog | Jun 23 '00
You need to find something to replace tobacco. Having a void is asking for trouble.

Running marathons? WOW. That is excellent! I would love to be a runner or heck even a jogger, but even back in high school, ya know when the gym coach makes ya run laps around the track...well I am the one grabbing my side from the awful cramps. Is there a secret to not getting these things? Fill me in!!!!

Man, if I could run and be cramp free.. I'd be the next Forrest Gump!! lmao

It gets rid of those nic fits - at least while you are under water.

Good editorial - you are so right about needing to find something else to fill the empty.

You are so right, get another interest. My husband had smoked for 55 years, has tried to quit, but never made it. He had plenty of other things in his life, but keeps the same old buddies that smoke. Now most of them are gone and he has no interest in finding something to get involved in. Strang what cigarette smoke can do to your mind. I still have hope. Good Luck

This was an awsome review and so true. When I became pregnant with my first son I had no problem kicking the habit I had a baby to think about. He was born I started back. 2 years later I got pregnant and quit. I am now breastfeeding so still have the habit on hold but once I m finished nursing I will definately need to find something else.

Good Job

I think it also takes a strong sense of self and will to do it since nicotine is more addicting that heroin! It really should be labeled as a drug because it is. Great review and good luck! ;0)

Nice points; it takes something inside to change, not a placebo or crutch. finding a healthy activity is definletly helpful. . .
