Lurker's 30 day wrap up, & an overview of Healthy Weight Loss

This is the wrap up epinion to give you the final results & progress on the aftermath of Lurker's 30 day diet, which I had posted many epinions in a he said/she said format by Lurker & myself. Many products were put to the test, some made the grade while others failed regarding the overall performance in keeping the user satisfied until the next meal.

Lurker successfully completed his 30 day diet, losing a total of 22 lbs. down from 260 lbs. to 238 lbs. His key to Healthy Weight Loss, was choosing a daily eating regime that was right "for him". He was able to eat 3 times a day with snacks, either regular meals with little restriction or substituting various diet products that kept him satisfied for the most part & most importantly had all the essential vitamins & minerals needed for a healthy diet plan.

Now some weeks later, Lurker has settled in at 240 lbs. & is back to eating three normal meals daily, & is not using any diet food products. He is still eating the goodies he loves, but now is consciously aware when is is eating them, & not just eating them out of habit. He also made a permanent change from consuming the 6-8 Pepsi's a day he was formerly drinking, now he has one only once in a while. He is still taking his nightly walks, for about 50 minutes, & feels great!

Healthy Weight Loss consists of 3 basic elements: Eat the foods you want, (but in limited portions), intake a healthy balance of the right types of foods or products containing the essential nutrients, & incorporate a type of exercise into your daily life, one of which you will not only feel good & motivated doing, but also one you will be able to stick to long term.

Each individual, through one's own preferences & guided by a licensed physician or dietician, can find a way to lose weight that is not only healthy but enjoyable. Weight loss need not be a dirty word. Lose the weight at your own pace, on your own terms. If you love pizza, go for it! Twinkies is your enemy, not necessarily so. Remember, if you are eating healthy there is room for all the things you love to eat in your daily diet; the difference is the portions you are eating.

Triggers are a main factor, learn to track what you eat & when. You may be surprised how often you are actually eating when you don't need to or aren't really hungry, rather you are doing it out of habit. Know that adding some sort of daily exercise for as little as 30 minutes a day, is a great way to not only burn fat & calories, but will also benefit your overall health & make you feel better.

The main reason people fail at their attempts to lose weight is the chosen plan, was just one that was not right for them, nothing more.

Motivation is the key, & having a plan that the dieter is excited about makes all the difference. To all my loyal readers & those on my WOT: Thank you for your continued support & comments on my work :*) I'm sorry I haven't been around much in recent weeks, but at the same time I got the promotion to Health & Wellness Advisor here on Epinions, I also received a promotion at my place of employment to Jr. Marketing Executive. Because of my new position I have been required to be out of town quite extensively. I am leaving tomorrow for a couple of weeks on the road, but when I return I hope to resume my normal activity of contribution to the site.
