It's fun to shop there... the site is excellent... I love checking X10.com site and always find things that explain and make me chose another product to try it out in my house.
The delivery is always on time as I receive the orders from Toronto, the time is 2-3 days after the on-line purchase....
Xa, Xa, now I have to install all those gadgets to make them work for me..

X10 is to be avoided at all cost. Over two weeks ago I purchased two 2-line telephones.
1. I never received a confirmation of my order
2. When I emailed and inquired about the status of my order, X10 NEVER responded to my email.
3. After 2 weeks when I called to inquire about my order, they advised that there was a problem with the credit card validation (even though I used the auto-populate feature of Discover Card).
4. When I asked why I wasn't notified about the problem, they said they sent an e-mail. They NEVER sent an email.
5. They "re-entered" my order via phone and said that they would send me an email confirmation. Again, they NEVER sent an email.
6. Each time I called I was placed in a long queue.
7. When I called on 11/9/2004 at 9:30 AM, I was placed on Music on Hold for 22 minutes 34 seconds, then heard Ringing Tone, then placed automatically on Music on Hold again, then received a recording that the "Main Switchboard was Closed" and told to call back to reach customer service, then disconnected after 25 minutes of holding.
8. When I called back on 11/9/2004 at 10:00 AM, I was again placed on Music on Hold for a long period of time. When the rep answered he advised me that the "Alternate Shipping Address" was not on file with the Credit Card Company. Since I was never asked to give the credit card company my alternate shipping address, and I already waited two weeks, I was VERY upset. Peter, the supervisor, advised that he would "expedite" my order.
Will I ever receive this order? Who knows! Read more
